Presets tab On this tab you can create upload settings that will be saved by the program and accessible in the drop down menu on the Upload tab.
How to use this feature
The wizard includes a built-in preset (see Upload tab Help page).
To Add a Preset:
- Click the New button.
- Enter your Connection and View settings in the fields provided (see the Connection settings and View settings pages for specific information about entering information in these fields)
- When you have finished entering your settings, click Save. This Preset will now appear in the Preset name drop down menus on both this tab and the Upload tab
To Delete a Preset:
- Using the Preset name drop down menu, select the Preset you want to delete
- Click the Delete button. The Preset name will no longer appear in the Preset name menu

Testing your connection and settings
The Test connection button:
- When you click the Test connection button, it tests a successful FTP connection to the Web server using the settings you provided above
- It also tests your permission to write files to the server by uploading a test file (test.htm)
The View test file button:
- When you click the View test file button, the program checks that your HTTP settings are correct by trying to display the uploaded test file in your Web browser
- The test file will display time stamps for when the test file was created and uploaded to help you ensure that everything is working as it should, and you are not viewing an older file
