Home > Screen-by-Screen Help > Step 5: Manage Gallery > Generate tab > About title
About title This field is where you enter your gallery title. This field is optional but we recommend you use it for better search engine indexing.
How this feature works
- The Gallery title will appear prominently in the banner of your generated gallery pages
- The page title (as defined by the <TITLE> tag in the HTML code) for all generated gallery pages will have this same name
NOTE: If you do not want to see the name displayed at the top of your gallery pages, you can leave this field empty. You should also be aware that Shozam uses the Gallery title to fill in the <TITLE> tag that is part of every HTML webpage. Web browsers typically display that tag in the top border of the browser's window. Also search engines use it to learn more about the page and may display the value of the <TITLE> tag in search results. If you leave the gallery title empty in Shozam the underlying <TITLE > tag will be blank as well.
NOTE: All gallery information you enter in Shozam is stored in a WebGallery.xml file. This file is generated, together with all gallery files, when you click on the Generate button. To modify an existing gallery at a later date you will need to browse to the folder which contains the respective WebGallery.xml file.
