It doesn't seem to matter whether you abbreviate (St vs. Street) or use commas. You will need to include either a state or zipcode. Street-level geocoding is available for the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Japan. More countries will be added as Google Maps launches in new countries. If you know the latitude and longitude for the placemark you are editing, you can enter Latitude and Longitude values. Latitude and Longitude can theoretically be expressed using 3 different notations:
DDD notation, decimal precision is set in the degree coordinate. Use the minus sign (-) to indicate a westerly or southerly position. When you use this kind of notation, do not specify a letter symbol. Additionally, you do not need to use a plus sign (+) to indicate northerly/easterly directions. So, for example this is a valid entry: The following is NOT a valid entry: Valid syntax is exemplified below. In case of Longitude, instead of “N”, “S”, use “E”, “W”.
